Youth Membership

Oliver Boys (2008)Are you young, enthusiastic, and would like to act, sing, or dance?

If so we are interested in you. Come along for a simple audition, and before you know it you will be in a show. For more details contact our membership secretary by email

  • Junior Membership costs £20 per annum and is for 12 to 18 year olds
  • We may need actors, singers or dancers of any age under 18 for a particular show.
  • We make sure we comply with the usual legal chaperoning requirements.
  • You need to pass a very simple audition to be a member or be in a show.
  • We usually have a group of junior dancers in every Pantomime we produce at the end of January each year. The rehearsals usually start at the end of October.

For instance we presented "Oliver" in 2008, which required a large cast of children. We contacted all the local schools, and held auditions at our rehearsal rooms. One luck boy, who was not a member of the society landed the lead part of "Oliver".
