Some good performances especially from Lindsey Hurst (a delightful Annie), who along with the rest of the Orphans endeared herself to an appreciative audience. Generally, a good cast of principals had been assembled. Michael Johnson gave a strong performance as Daddy Warbucks, and Shirley Davies' Miss Hannigan was an intoxicating treat with some good singing coming from the company. One small criticism I would make was that the orchestra was occasionally a little too loud, tending to drown some of the singers, but apart from that, generally, a good show and the group can be well satisfied with their efforts. Producer was Peter Clough, musical director Keith Yearsley, and choreographer Carol Dabbs.
